ScholarFund.org believes that some of the most important students to reach via scholarship funding may not be the high school seniors that have college acceptance letters but middle school students who will be making critical decisions about if college is even a possibility and if staying in school makes sense for them.
In launching ScholarFund.org, we wanted to ensure that one of our first scholarships went to younger students and have been fortunate to have a donor sponsor the Hung Phi Tieu and Lan Vuong Scholarship for recent and current students of Alba Middle School in Bayou La Batre.
Today we are happily announcing that we are extending the scholarship deadline to May 31, 2012 to allow more students to apply.
