Congratulations to Our First Scholarship Winner!

Congratulations to Carolyn Vu Nguyen, of San Jose, CA, the winner of our first ScholarFund.org scholarship: The California Working Student Scholarship.

Carolyn graduated from Oak Grove High School this May and will be attending the University of California of Santa Cruz this coming Fall.

As a high school student, Carolyn  took honors classes, was student body president, editor of the school newspaper, and the vice commander of her Junior Air Force ROTC program. Her achievements at school are even more impressive because she was also a working student.

Carolyn works part-time at a Tuxedo rental shop and we were able surprise her at work to let her know she was the winner of the Working Student Scholarship.
