Uyen Tieu Canner, Director and President

Uyen Tieu is a seasoned media and strategy executive focused on creating, launching and integrating new revenue models in both the traditional and digital media space. As the founder of VICHARANA, a digital strategy think tank, she advises some of the world’s leading media companies as well as digital start-ups innovating on analytics, mobile and social media. Before founding VICHARANA, Uyen was the Head of Global Ad Sales Strategy at Microsoft where she developed a global customer segmentation model to drive revenue. Prior to that, she was the VP, Strategic Marketing Partnerships and the VP of Ad Sales Strategy and Operations for MTV Networks/Viacom.  Uyen has a BA from Yale University and an MBA from Columbia University.

Van Tieu, Director and Secretary

Van Tieu is a digital journalist with both reporting and production experience. Currently she works at CNN on the Piers Morgan Tonight program in production and had previously worked at CNN: Anderson Cooper 360, NY1 and Santa Barbara City TV 18. She is a member of the Asian American Journalist Association and a graduate of the Columbia Journalism School.

Andrew Selva, Director and Treasurer

Andrew is a Senior Manager of Finance at Viacom Media Networks where he has held several corporate finance roles for the Ad Sales and Content Distribution & Marketing groups. Prior to MTV Networks, Andrew was a Finance Analyst at Comedy Central. Andrew has a BA from Fordham University.

Lisa Raggiri, Director

Lisa Raggiri is a venture capital veteran, helping multiple start-ups find and negotiate funding. Currently she is the EVP of Business Solutions of Apriva, the leading mobile payments security platform.  Prior to joining Apriva, Lisa served as VP of Corporate Development  and General Counsel for Bone Care International, Inc. Lisa has a BA from Rutgers University and a JD from Villanova University.

Christine Stearn, Director

Christine is a Senior IT Auditor at Columbia University where she ensures compliance on some of the largest IT initiatives across the University. Prior to that she was the Tech Service Corps program manager at NPower and the IT Manager at Worldwatch Institute. While at NPower she earned a Certificate for Youth Development Strategy and Marketing from Columbia University’s Institute for Non Profit Management.  Christine has a BA from Babson College and an MBA from Columbia University.
